Staffed Residential Services

Individuals can choose from a number of existing group living arrangements as vacancies permit. Milieu also offers a number of customized staffed residential services that are developed according to the needs identified in the individuals personal goal plan and can address individualized support requirements including those individuals who experience challenging and complex behaviour.

Home Sharing Services

Individualized living arrangements are available to those seeking to live with persons or families in the community through our Home Sharing Services. Milieu will assist in the recruitment, screening and training of caregivers who are matched to the expressed expectation of individuals and their families.

Day Supports

A variety of day time supports are available to individuals, each tailored to the unique support requirements of the person. These services are generally offered between the hours of 8:00 am and 2:00 pm in a variety of locations throughout the Lower mainland.
Milieu provides customized day supports to persons living in Staffed Residential Services and also, provides Community Based Day Supports. A brief description of our Community Based Day Supports is as follows:

Our Jazz Program focus support in the areas of community access, leisure and recreation supports, supported volunteerism, and life skills support.

Our JazzCo Program is designed for persons who require minimum supervision and has an additional emphasis on developing individual or group driven micro-enterprise initiatives. In addition to promoting small business ventures we support individuals wishing to secure competitive employment. Milieu provides a variety of supports in this area including: job preparation, job supports, monitoring, work experience and opportunities for volunteerism that may lead to employment.

Our Avant Program is designed for persons who have complex support requirements. Each person supported has a program tailored to their unique needs, with staff trained to meet these individualized needs.
