Welcome to Milieu
|
Milieu Family Services has been a provider of
valued services for individuals with developmental disabilities since 1989.
Our service delivery is guided by our commitment to person centered practice,
community awareness and inclusion. We have mutually supportive relationships
with families, advocates, MCFD and CLBC as well we have solid working
relationships with various community businesses and resources.
We seek to involve, support and inform family and friends so they can be:
Knowledgeable of the circumstances and choices available to the person;
Consulted with regard to these circumstances and choices; Supported in their
case of the person.
Milieu recognizes that all people have gifts and contributions to make as
citizens of their communities. Our core purpose has always been to provide the
support, opportunity and education to enable individuals with developmental
disabilities to live meaningful lives within their communities.
We practice person-centered, quality care, delivered in partnership with
individuals, families and the community. We are guided by our recognition of
